3) Time to take in those Norfolk views … don’t miss St Helens Church in Ranworth, known as The Cathedral of the Broads for its stunning views from the top of the tower or head to Happisburgh to see the famous candy-striped Lighthouse – the oldest working Light in East Anglia.

4) With a coastline stretching more than 90 miles from Great Yarmouth in the south right up to Hunstanton on The Wash, a beach walk is a must and you’ll be spoiled for choice. The Ingham Swan is less than 10 minutes from the long sandy beach at Sea Palling or head to the traditional seaside resort of Cromer, famous for its Victorian Pier with an “end of the pier” Show every Summer and Winter.

5) “Messing about in boats” – why not enjoy a boat trip on the Broads, try stand-up paddle boarding at Whitlingham Country Park or take a river-bank walk.
