A STAR IN THE EAST

 The Ingham Swan made the list too and we’re delighted to have been one of 3 runners up in the East of England as Awards organisers commented “a long-time favourite in this category, chef-proprietor Daniel Smith reopened the Swan in March after a huge fire in 2017.  Skilfully cooked Norfolk produce (Kings Lynn brown shrimp, Cromer Crab, Tacons Asparagus).  Don’t miss Smith’s take on a peach melba, as seen on BBC’s Great British Menu and served with a peach foam bellini”

Introducing Our Norfolk...

One of our favourite iconic sights on the Norfolk coastline will be celebrating its 230th birthday in 2020! The red and white striped Lighthouse at nearby Happisburgh, built in 1790 was originally one of a pair and is the oldest working light in East Anglia and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. It is now maintained and operated entirely by voluntary contributions.
